“Gratitude turns what we have into enough.”
31 Days of Gratitude was something that I felt led to do. It’s easy to take things for granted.
For instance, that breath you just took, I bet you probably didn’t even think twice about that.
What about when you reached for that water bottle, just to quench your thirst? I bet you didn’t have any concerns about it being clean or ever running out.
Not everyone is breathing.
Not everyone has access to clean drinking water.
No, I’m not trying to make you sad, but I am trying to shift your perspective to a stance of being grateful for even for the little things. Trust me.I’m talking to myself too.
Life isn’t always fair. I wish I could tell you that even your worse moments will someday be okay. But I can’t do that. I’d be lying to you and I want us to stay curlfriends. However, I can tell you that each day we get to choose. So, today I want us to choose joy. A huge part of being happy lies within our gratefulness.
Take a moment to find one thing to be grateful for and watch how your life changes.
For the next 31 days, I will be implementing a gratitude challenge and I would love for you to join me.
How do I join the challenge?
Each day we will post our gratitude via our Instagram stories. You can use the template I designed or create a snippet video to state what you are grateful for each day. If you DM me on Instagram, I can send you the template. I got you!
Also, be sure to tag @talkcurlytome in your daily gratitude post so that I can share them on my story.
I’ll be keeping a log of my daily gratitude right here on my blog, in my journal, and via my Instagram stories.
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
– Oprah Winfrey
Remember, it’s always good to look at what you do have instead of counting what you don’t have.
The gratitude challenge begins right now with you and me!
Are you ready?
Let’s do this!

December 5, 2019: Today I am grateful to know that there are still some good men in the world. I was freezing cold, and this gentleman offered to let me hold his jacket. He didn’t know me from a can of paint.
December 6, 2019: I am grateful for the quiet moments alone.
December 7, 2019: I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my four nieces. I enjoy watching them grow.

December 27, 2019: Being able to be vulnerable used to be one of the toughest things for me to do. At this point in my life, I’m realizing that it’s okay to not have it all together. Now, don’t get me wrong, you don’t want to stay a total mess. However, it’s okay not to be okay all of the time.
