Knotless braids are definitely trending right now. As a matter of fact, not too many people are styling their natural hair during this Coronavirus pandemic. PERIOD.
Well, let me not speak for everybody. Let me just speak for myself. I don’t feel like doing my hair. Especially if no one is going to see it. I figured I can rock these knotless braids as a protective style and promote length retention at the same time.
GUCCI!
In this post, I’m going to show you five easy ways to rock your knotless braids just in case you go outside.
Double Buns
Double or nothing.
I’ve always wanted to say that since seeing Love and Basketball. Ha!
I style my hair in double bus on cleaning days. This style makes it easy for me to swoop my hair out of the way and do what I need to do.
Side Braid
This style could go either way. You can braid your hair to the right or the left. I braided my hair to the left so that I could cover up this one braid I took out around my edges. Yes, that braid along my edges had to go.
Braiding your hair to the side is a quick way to switch up the game.
Fan Ponytail
I discovered this look by mistake. No seriously, I did. I had a hard time putting all of my braids into a tiny hair tie, so I put the braids halfway through the hair tie, and boom… a style was born.
Now, I know this style may be a little extra for some, but if you rock it well, no one will question it. Just own it.
Braided French Braids
I love rocking my natural hair in French braids, so I figured why not rock them with my hair in knotless braids.
I wear these french braids when I’m working out or if I’m making a quick dash to the store.
Date Night Updo
I’m dating. Yes, I said it.
One thing I’ve learned so far is that updo hairstyles and maxi dresses go hand in hand for date night. Picked up braids create a soft feminine look and elongates the neckline. It’s just something about it that catches a man’s eye. Then again, it may be you. Ha!
This look can also double as a corporate office look as well.
